Book Review Policy

Reading is my passion as I’m sure you can tell just by the mere fact that I actually have this blog. So it is more than okay for a publicist and/or author to contact me about review opportunities.

My favorite genres are contemporary / literary / multicultural fiction, historical fiction, chick lit, women's fiction, paranormal, sci-fi, young adult / teen books, non-fiction and mysteries, romance (all types), but I am open to other genres as well. So please fee free to contact me and I will be more than happy to let you know if I'm interested in the book you want to publicize!

I post reviews 3-4 times per week and I take the weekends off. As you can see from my profile - I have a hectic life but I do pressure myself to get my reading done. If I receive your book at least 2 weeks prior to the release date, I aim to post my review the week of the book's release. I do not sell ARC's –– I occasionally give them away on my site, but if you'd prefer that I refrain from doing that, I definitely will. I normally send out an e-mail once my review is posted. Please note that I am honest in my reviews, regardless of where the book came from. I usually cross-post reviews on LibraryThing, Goodreads, Living Social thru Facebook and Amazon.com. I have participated in numerous blog tours and love them, so please contact me if you are running a tour!

If you are interested in having me review the book you are publicizing or have any other questions, please feel free to e-mail me at bookwormygirl@gmail.com.

what would you recommend to a teen girl who has read twilight, house of night, blue bloods and loved them all?

  2. Hopefully, you receive my response - since you didn't leave an email to respond to.

Similar to the titles you list, I recommend:

The Vampire Diaries series; Evermore; Hush Hush; Wings; Shiver; Fairy Tale; L.J. Smith's Night World series; Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side; Meridian

although not all of them are vampire books, they are all paranormal YA that I have read and enjoyed.

  3. Hi there!

Came across your blog and saw you do giveaways. Have you heard of Paperbackswap.com? I love that site and have swapped and received over 200 books! I noticed you mentioned your day job provides you enough money to support your book a day habit and you may be able to get some from PBS free! All you pay is postage to mail the books people request (media mail usually averages 2 or 3 bucks). Then you get a credit and can use it to order any book you want. Worth checking out :) I came across your blog via Beth Hoffman's website! Our blog is Year of the Bookwormz 2010, where a friend and I have both challenged ourselves to read 52 books this year! I noticed the "bookworm" in your blog and stopped by to check it out!
