I know you must be asking yourself, "What the heck is she talking about? She lives in Florida... it does not LOOK like Christmas over there 'till mid-January, and then, only for a week." Well, whatever, I feel like Christmas already and so I've changed my look to reflect my mood. What do y'all think? Ellie at Rainy Day Templates has once again blown me away with her awesomeness. I asked for "Christmassy" (yes, I invented that word) and she has once again exceeded my expectations. So hopefully you'll also think of gingerbread cookies, wrapping paper, ribbon and even hum yourself a quick Fa La La La La, La La, La La - like I've been doing all morning, when you pass thru my blog.
Here's what I plan on reading this week:
Last week I read the following:
- The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane - Kate DiCamillo
- Over the Holidays - Sandra Harper
- Once Was Lost - Sara Zarr
- Genesis - Bernard Beckett
- To Desire a Devil - Elizabeth Hoyt
I reviewed the following:
- Legacy - Cayla Kluver [review]
- Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side - Elizabeth Fantaskey [review]
- The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins [review]
- Hot & Irresistible - Diane Castell [review]
- Naomi & Ely's No Kiss List - Rachel Cohn and David Levithan [review]

So much to read, so little time! I have about 15 books right now that I can't wait to dive into but lately I'm feeling overworked, underpaid, lacking sleep and just plain out of whack - so I'm sorta taking it slow. I will say that I am excited because this week is the Miami International Book Fair - hooray! I have plans with my besties over at Book♥Soulmates to see/meet Jeannette Walls tomorrow - so hopefully I'll have some pictures up soon and this weekend is the street fair which I also plan on attending. And that's all I've got folks.... Have a great week and hope to hear about your reads and lovely plans for the week.
Happy Reading!

ReplyDeleteGreat new layout!
ReplyDeleteI love changing things around on my blogs. I've been doing that this morning!
I've been wanting to read "Half Broke Horses," since I loved her other book, "Glass Castles."
Really great layout! You just make simple changes and it looks so christmassy (I use that word, it's okay :P). I've been wanting to read a book by Jill Mansell. Tell me if you review it, I'd like to hear someone else's opinion of her work.
ReplyDeleteHave fun reading!
The Recipe Club was good; ENJOY
ReplyDeleteI LOVE how you changed the colors!!
ReplyDeleteWhat part of Florida are you in? Did I ask this before? I'm in Sanford near Orlando.
