Tuesday

I've been MIA...

You've noticed right?! That's so sweet of you.

Shopping.  Wrapping.  Hiding.
(well not me, but the presents)

That's what I've been doing.  Reading? Nope.

My house has been a complete disaster for the past week.  I have a closet full of gifts that I'm actually scared to open because I'm sure it will collapse on me the moment I do.  I have gifts under the bed and in suitcases... not to mention the attic.  Having a curious 3 and 5 year old can be tricky around this time.

I have been to every damn mall, outdoor mall, and even shopping center in a 30 mile radius of my home.  I finally finished my Christmas shopping yesterday!  And now I have to wrap everything.  Ugh.  Needless to say, I won't have much blogging/reading time within the week - so please pardon my lack of blogging goodness.  I know you will miss me - but have no fear, I plan on coming back here some time on Saturday or Sunday with loads of pictures of that sweet Nook Color that I have been doing my best at seducing the hubs in order for "Santa" to bring me one.  Oh yes, I will stoop to sexual favors if need be in order to get my Nook Color dammit ;)  I am not ashamed!

So... I'll do my best to get some giveaway winners listed shortly and maybe even put up a giveaway or two.  I have a few lined up for you guys.  I might even do my best to throw in a review or two... but I can't guarantee anything.

I hope your lives are not as hectic as mine is at the moment and, if it they are, well there's always alcohol ;)

  3. Hi my friend!! No worries - Vane & I are in the same boat. 'Tis the season to be stressed, lol.

I still have a few presents to get, wrapping & cleaning to do and I still try to do something bloggy from time to time. Sadly my reading has suffered and I don't think I'll really be able to focus on a book until after Christmas =/

Anyhoo, hang in there! Hopefully we'll get to see you soon.

    XoXo,

Understandable, everyone is a bit crazy this time of year and it seems like for parents its even worse. Athenna has found a great hiding place for her gifts. My house.

  10. Well of course I missed you! But, I understand because it's totally and honestly the same here... I have so much to do I don't even know where to start ( and I don't even have kids as an excuse..)

I hope you'll have a great holiday and a wonderful and lovely Christmas!

    *hugs*

  14. It's the slowest time of the year around the blogs I think. It's great to disconnect and spend time with family. Hope you and yours have a fantastic holiday!

  15. I have missed your posts! I figured you were busy with Christmas stuff because you have little ones.

I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and that "Santa" brings you that Nook. ;)

  16. Sorry I missed you. I was the bald woman who had pulled out all of her hair in sheer frustration.
