On this week's Bookcase of the Week it is with great pleasure that I bring you Chrystal of Snowdrop Dreams of Books bookcases. After placing a desperate cry on Twitter looking for participants for this feature, Chrystal was the first person to respond. She's also a very faithful blogger, follower, commenter and friend. Here's what she sent us:
What an absolute honor to be chosen for Bookcase of the Week! I absolutely adore reading this feature and now I get to be a part of it.
I read and blog a lot. I am sure I drive my fiancee crazy, but he is so understanding that reading is super important to me that he even bought me a nice new bookcase for my birthday a few months ago. It is already overflowing with books. After receiving the bookcase I just had to arrange my books in the most pleasing way. I think it looks so cheerful to come home and see this colourful bookcase in my living room.
Mostly I snuggle on the love seat with my quilt, a good book and one of our cats. I tend to blog at either my cute little desk (that is piled with books) or while vegging on the couch. The images I've included are Esme (our grey tabby) who nudges my arms for attention while I read and Sasha (our black shorthair) who will sleep beside my laptop just to be close to me. I think books and cats go nicely together - both are enjoyable and relaxing to be around.
Nely - thank you so much for inviting me to participate in Bookcase of the Week! Hope you all liked my bookcases.
Chrystal, thank you so much for playing along. I love your bookcase and especially that top shelf of rainbow coordinated books (just looking at it makes me happy). Congratulations on your recent engagement and I look forward to reading more posts on the preparations for your big day.

I love the color coded bookshelf. It's so much fun!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, those ships look great. I really like the color coordinated bookcase.
ReplyDeleteI love that the books are sorted by color! I've always wanted to do that, but was afraid I'd never find the books I was looking for. (And I have a ton of black books for some reason, so my books wouldn't be as colorful as hers.)

I love color coordinated bookshelves! It's a pity that I'm too lazy to arrange my books by color myself ;)
ReplyDeleteThe color coded books look really nice on the bookshelf. Thanks for sharing!
