I don't know about you guys, but I'm actually pretty freaked out that it's November. I just saw Christmas aisles in Target... what's up with that? The year is over!! Ugh. I had a very hectic month with tons of events every week. So here's a pictorial of my month:
My little girl's 5th Birthday - she wanted a Halloween themed costume party
Here's what I plan on reading this week:
Last week I read the following:
- The Next Queen of Heaven by Gregory Maguire [review]
- The Ivy by Lauren Kunze and Rina Onur
- Ecstasy in Darkness by Gena Showalter [review/giveaway]
- Jane by April Lindner
- Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning [review]
- A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle
I reviewed the following:
- Five Flavors of Dumb by Antony John [review]
- The Twin's Daughter by Lauren Baratz-Logsted [review]
- Rise Again by Ben Tripp [review]
I hope you all had the wonderful, funtastic October that I had. Various winners were chosen for outstanding giveaways over the weekend, but just in case you missed the post and my e-mail, here's a link to that post again. If you haven't yet, please make sure to send me your info.
I also wanted to take a minute to thank Missie for asking me to participate in the Trick or Treat for Books event. I had such a fun time - plus I also wanted to thank my other lovely co-hosts Tara at 25 Hour Books and Felicia at Geeky Blogger's Book Blog. For those of you who participated in the giveaway, the winner was chosen and you can you find out who it was over at Missie's (it just might be you!).
More giveaway results coming soon as well as the first post including early sign-up post for the Holiday Reading Challenge (which was a big hit last year!). Tomorrow on the Bookcase of the Week we have an Author Edition - we meet author Antony John (Five Flavors of Dumb) and see his bookcases as well as some of his favorite writing spots. So stay tuned for that plus a very special giveaway from Antony.
Have a great week friends!
