Manic Monday Recaps (Week 1/04/10)

Happy New Year, my lovelies! I know, if you're anything like me, you were dreading getting up and dragging yourself to work this morning. I even felt depressed over it yesterday. But I'm here, sitting quietly, typing away, making believe I'm working. mwahahahaha

So, last week I had a much better reading week than the week before. I was worried that I wouldn't even read the three books that I set aside. I read four! whoot. Although, I replaced The Children's Book with two other ones. Have you seen the size of that book? It's a tome! But nonetheless, I still want to read it. I just have a hard time getting into a book that size - it takes a lot of time and dedication and I just wanted something light. So I skipped it. I also have Under the Dome by Stephen King - which I have also been pushing off. Maybe I'll do both of those next week.

Here's what I plan on reading this week:

Last week I read the following:
- Give Up the Ghost - Megan Crewe
- Rion - Susan Kearney
- Heart of Darkness - Gena Showalter, Maggie Shayne, Susan Krinard
- A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love and Faith in Stages - Kristin Chenoweth, Joni Rodgers

I reviewed the following:
- Viola in Reel Life - Adriana Trigiani [review]
- A Touch of Dead - Charlaine Harris [review]
- The Everafter - Amy Huntley [review]

And there you have it. Have a great week!

Great reading list!

I recieved Going Bovine for Christmas, and it looks to be a great read. Looking forward to your review.

These sound good! I didn't even finish one of my books this past week, but I did get two more in my mailbox, so go figure! Now I have a dilemma...continue reading the one I'm on, or jump to one of the others that look so enticing!

Nely, are you going to announce anything about the end of the Holiday Reading Challenge. I'm curious who all won some special prizes!

I just got Give up the Ghost last week. I can't wait to see what you thought about that one. The premise is good and the cover is PRETTY... :]
