Bookcase of the Week - Starring... Savannah of Books With Bite

Photobucket

On this week's Bookcase of the Week it is with great pleasure that I bring you Savannah - from Books with Bite's bookcases. Savannah and I have a lot of the same reading tastes.  She's a big YA fan and she especially likes paranormal reads... like me!  HaHa.  So I obviously had to ask her to  show us her shelves. Here's what she sent us:

Here is my, what I call the Magic Library. I have these cool spiral stairs that lead up there.

Then you are greeted by this! Ta-da My library.

Since I don't have much room on my shelves anymore, or haven't bought any, I place all my books in tupperwares. It's the best way I can store them that keep them clean, safe, and it's cheap.

This tupperware contains just ARC's.

This tupperware contains books I bought that need to be read.

And this tupperware contains my already read books but I have no where to put them.

Here is where I write my reviews, do my vlogs, and package books for giveaways.

Most of my reading is done at work. I am a Dispatcher. (Long story, for the full story go here.)

So there you have it. My bookshelves. Thanks for having me!

Savannah, I feel you about your space issues.  I haven't had to resort to plastic bins yet, but eventually I guess I'll have to as well.  I find that I can't help but NEEDING another book every time I walk into a book store.  Thus my bookshelves are chaos.  Thanks again for playing along.

For those of you who haven't passed on through to Savannah's yet, please visit her here (tell her I say HI!)

I love "Bookcase of the Week". It is so fun to see what others bookcases look like and how many books they have laying around =D

Oooh, a spiral staircase leading to your library! That is so cool. I have a plastic container (or 3) holding the books that don't fit on my shelves. I'm impressed with Savannah's organization. I also read the post that explains how she reads so many books. Interesting - I hope they pay you well!!!

Thanks so much for having me Nely!!

@mary, I worked there for over 7 years so my pay isn't too bad.

I love your spiral staircase! All you need in there is a couple more shelves, a sofa and a kettle and you never need leave again lol

@slowest bookworm, I am slowly working my way up that stage. I am currently looking for a small couch or futon. Also I want a new rug, a coffepot, maybe a tv LOL. I am hoping one day I will have it all set up.

Savy,

If you need a place to put your already read books, I have a suggestion. My house!

Love those magical stairs!

Love the little book nook there...and the spiral staircase, how cool! I'm with you on the lack of space though mine are in boxes. Carefully packed boxes that are sorted...but boxes none the less. Oh to have enough bookshelf space to put them all out...with a little extra room to fill with new additions to the group. ^_^ Thanks for the share!

I love the spiral staircase! I have containers too... and multiple bookcases that are brimming. Good luck with the TBR pile. :)
