Technical Difficulties.... still!

As you can see, we continue having problems with Photobucket and their maintenance issues.  Please forgive the busted-ness of my page.. I swear it's not my fault.  I curse the Photobuket gods!  Either way, at least you can now see what I post, so although the page might not be looking its best, I shall continue with the regularly scheduled programming.

Tuesday

Technical Difficulties

If you notice, my blog looks like hell today.  Photobucket is performing maintenance on some of its accounts and it just so happens that Danny's account was part of the 2% affected.  Bleh.  Hopefully we'll be back to our regularly scheduled programming tomorrow... since I refuse to post anything because you can't read it!  Carry on.

Monday

I don't know about you guys....

But this makes me very excited!  July can't come soon enough.

Thursday

I'm Famous!!!

Well, maybe not truly famous, but I'm definitely feeling a little famous this morning!  haha

I just found out that a blurb from my review on A Touch Mortal was used for the book's trailer.  Eeek!!!  Needless to say, I've just e-mailed every single one of my contacts and am harassing everyone I know until they see it.  How cool is that?!  And on such an amazing book!

So please, take a moment and check it out!

How famous and I, right?! Carry on.

Check it out!

So the lovely ladies, Stephanie & Athenna, over at Paranormal Haven asked me to participate in their Beyond the Blog feature.  In it you'll learn a little bit more about yours truly - specifically when I'm not in blogging or reading mode.  Please take a few moments to check it out HERE and give a big hello to the lovely gals of Paranormal Haven.

Sarah MacLean fans!

I am in love with Sarah MacLean's romance novels -  Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake and the more recent Ten Ways to be Adored When Landing a Lord.  Well, they've finally revealed the cover of and teaser synopsis for the next in the series... Eleven Scandals to Start to Win a Duke's Heart.

Here it is in all its "radioactive pink" glory:
She lives for passion
Bold, impulsive, and a magnet for trouble, Juliana Fiori is no simpering English miss. She refuses to play by society's rules: she speaks her mind, cares nothing for the approval of the ton, and can throw a punch with remarkable accuracy. Her scandalous nature makes her a favorite subject of London's most practiced gossips...and precisely the kind of woman the Duke of Leighton wants far far away from him.

He swears by reputation.

Scandal is the last thing Simon Pearson has room for in his well-ordered world. The Duke of Disdain is too focused on keeping his title untainted and his secrets unknown. But when he discovers Juliana hiding in his carriage late one evening--risking everything he holds dear--he swears to teach the reckless beauty a lesson in propriety.

She has other plans, however; she wants two weeks to prove that even an unflappable duke is not above passion.
How exciting right!  I cannot wait!  Look for it in stores 4/26/11.

Sneak peak into the Rocky Horror Glee Show

You guys must obviously know what a big fan of Glee I am.  If you don't, well I am!  So, when I saw the commercial for the upcoming The Rocky Horror Glee Show episode, you must know I literally did a little dance of joy.  Because yes, I am a big fan of the 1975 movie - I know all the songs!  Yes, they're on my iPod dammit!  I can't help myself, I am obviously a big musical fan (thus my fascination with Glee).

Don't Finn & Rachel look adorable? I'm assuming they're playing Brad & Janet.
Anyway, I just found this sneak peak into next week's Rocky Horror Glee Show episode and I, of course, must share.  Enjoy!

Tell me that tune isn't catchy!  What about the costumes?  Don't they look awesome?  Eeek!  I'm uploading soundtrack the moment I get home.

I Am Number Four - movie trailer

I read I Am Number Four a few months back and cannot tell you how excited I am to see this! What do you think?

Halo - the new book trailer!

I am dying to read this book! This book trailer is so pretty - now I'm even more excited about it.
ALEXANDRA ADORNETTO was fourteen when she published her first book,The Shadow Thief, in Australia. The daughter of two English teachers, she admits to being a compulsive book buyer who has run out of shelf space, and now stacks her reading “in wobbly piles on my bedroom floor.” Alex lives in Melbourne, Australia; Halo marks her U.S. debut.

Something Wicked [cool] This Way Comes

Most of you have already noticed the changes at All About {n} - but I do want to give you guys a heads up on what's to come.

Obviously, first things first, the lovely layout design created for yours truly by the amazingly talented Danny at Dreamy Blog Designs.  Pretty much everything you see here was created by her. le sigh...  I still can't stop looking at it ;)

Secondly, I am implementing a rating system.  From now on, all book reviews will have a rating at the bottom of the post as well as I will be enclosing ISBN info, Amazon link-up, number of pages, etc. And each review post will also now start with Book Review: and the name of book and author.  It's easier to find this way - whether it be through a search engine, twitter and even your Google Readers.  It makes life simpler for everyone.

There will also be some new weekly features that I have been working on.

So Many Books So Little Time - this feature will host upcoming titles that I can't wait to get my hands on, books that I'm dreaming about owning and just anything that I can't help but NEED in order to increase by TBR piles. These are books that I'm waiting on, wishing on, and will travel miles to obtain. Yes, even if it means going ninja and having to fight a mob for it.

Bookcase of the Week - has been revamped.  I originally was posting these fabulous bookcases that I would find online, but I've decided why post bookcases that we'll never own, don't have the space for, or will never be able to afford.  Instead I've contacted some prominent bloggers and asked them to share their bookshelves, where they read, where they blog.  We want to see it all!!  Many of them have agreed and the first post should be up within a day or two.  I'm really excited about this one!
In gratitude for your unwavering following of my little blog - I've bought all these fabulous gifts that I plan on giving away.  The first one was the box set of the first six books of The Black Dagger Brotherhood which is already up.  I also got something for my YA followers and something for my contemporary romance lovers.  I figured this way I had a little something to encompass all my readers - since I have an eclectic bunch - much like my reading tastes.

And there you have it my lovelies.  These are just some of the changes that I have planned.  I hope to hear your feedback on them and hope you enjoy them as much as I do getting them together for you all.

Monday

Sunday

The new, revamped All About {n}

All About {n}

So what do you guys think about the all new and revamped All About {n}?  I was dying for a makeover and after researching various design blogs I found Dreamy Blog Designs.  After ogling all the beautiful layouts in the portfolio, I sent an email and that's where I met Danny.

Danny is funny, competent, thorough and based on the the work I've seen on her site, capable of embracing a myriad of design aesthetics.  She can bend a template to her will in absolutely wonderful ways.  What you're left with is not only a customized front-end but more options for back-end customization than I ever thought possible.

Danny has been an absolute joy to work with.  I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to freshen up or maybe get a face-lift for their site at a very reasonable cost.  Thank you Danny for being so patient, quick and sweet!

There are going to be some more changes around here, but we'll talk about that next week.  For those of you who have already commented on the new do - I thank you for your lovely comments, it not only feeds my ego, but I'm sure Danny's as well (she is the true artiste behind it all).  For those of you just getting your first glimpse, please let me know what you think.  I'm looking for all the feedback I can get.

Thursday

Just because I almost peed my pants watching this

This definitely made my morning... [still giggling]
